National Resources

  • The Child Welfare Inforamtion Gateway provides access to information and resources on a wide range of topics including adoption. The Child Welfare Information Gateway is a service of the Children's Bureau, Administration for Children and Families and the Us Department of Health and Human Servies.
  • North American Council on Adoptable Children has a databse of local resources, information about domestic adoption and adopting from foster care.
  • Rainbow kids is a website with links to various articles and agencies for international adotption. This also links to various online listservs and support groups
  • Ethica is a website that discusses issues regarding ethics in adoption.
  • International Adoption Alliance has articles pertaining to international adoption.
  • Older Child Adoption has resources for families interested in adopting older children.
  • National Adoption Center has links to educational materials about domestic adoption.
  • The Joint Council on International Children's Services is and organization whose membership includes adoption agencies, child welfare organizations, parent support groups and medical specialists with an interest in international adoption.
