Fee Schedule

The value of services provided by an adoption or counseling agency can be determined in many ways. Specific fees charged are only a part of the picture. You are encouraged to call and set up a free information session (608-826-0498) before any financial commitment is required. Give yourself the chance to have all of your questions answered and to judge the "feel" of Children and Families First, Inc. to determine if the agency is the right fit for you. Fees for International and Interstate Adoption Services

Application Fee Due with application.	$300.00
Home Study Fee* Family will receive bill along with a copy of their home study. A home study updates that does not require an additional visit is $200. A home study update requiring an additional visit is $250. Fees due 10 days from date of billing.	$1800.00 Updates - not requiring an additional visit - $200. Updates - requiring an additional visit - $250.
There is a $300.00 reduction for families who have adopted previously.
Post-Placement Fee* Family will be billed when notified that child is scheduled to arrive home. $500 is charged for the first post-placement visit and for all services related to finalization/readoption in the U.S. An additional $200 per visit is charged for each additional visit required by the sending country or by the State of Wisconsin for interstate domestic adoptions. Fees due 10 days from date of billing.	First visit - $500.00 Subsequent visits - $200.00 per visit
There is a $100.00 reduction for families who have adopted previously. * Families who live more than 25 miles away from the offices of Children and Families First, Inc. will be assessed for mileage above 50 miles round-trip per visit to the home by the social worker at a rate of 62 cents per mile.
