Positive Parenting

This class is designed to provide parents with tools that can help them smoothly navigate the introduction of a new child into the family. Did you know it was possible to raise cooperative, self-motivated children without ever punishing them? Discover the reasons why most children misbehave and creative ways to prevent misbehavior. Learn how to encourage healthy bonding and attachment by keeping the relationship between you and your child warm and supportive while being an effective and positive disciplinarian. Also, discover effective strategies to reduce stress and maintain a healthy relationship with your partner while being a successful and attentive parent.

  • Recognize signs of personal and family stress, and learn ways to both prevent and cope with stress.
