In general, "Meet & Greet" events are designed for families in all stages of the
adoption process to share stories and connect with other families from CFF
who have adopted from the same country. For parents who have already brought
their children home, it is a chance to develop contacts with other families
with similar life situations. For parents interested in (or waiting to) adopt
internationally, it is an opportunity to get travel tips, country-specific information,
and general advice from other adoptive parents.
For our April 2008 Meet & Greet, we will also be hosting a special presentation
by Feng Shui Master Jackie Patricia.
We will gather at 6:30 to talk and offer support regarding the wait.
Anne will be on hand to answer questions about wait times, redoing paper work, starting dual adoptions, etc.
Then at 7:00 p.m. we will be joined by Jackie Patricia, Feng Shui Master.
Jackie will share with us her insights into creating a welcome space for children, and spaces within
the home that support strong, loving adult relationships as well.
